These decorative trims feature the same distinctive half‑round profile as our door kick‑panel trims, creating visual continuity throughout the interior’s lower trim detailing.
This previously unobtainable component has been unavailable to owners, enthusiasts and restorers for decades. Many DB4 and DB5 vehicles have had these trim details removed over the years due to damage from normal use, boot scuffs, corrosion, or accident damage, with owners unable to source accurate new replacements. The footwell location makes these trims particularly vulnerable to wear from passengers’ feet and general interior use. The tricky manufacturing of these footwell trims presents unique challenges distinct from our door trim variants. While both components share the identical compact half‑round profile, the footwell trims require a completely different directional bend to conform to the sidewall corner. This necessitates dedicated tooling and forming techniques specific to these components alone, ensuring the profile geometry remains accurate without collapse or deformation during the bending process.
The polished stainless steel half‑round profile mounts neatly to the footwell’s lower sidewall, secured through multiple sliding M4 steel fixings that attach to the vehicle’s underlying trim structure.
All DMark® DB4 and DB5 internal footwell trims are finished as highly polished stainless steel, delivering a lustrous, mirror‑like appearance that requires no additional treatment and is ready for immediate installation.
