Aston Martin DB4 & DB5 Aluminium Headlining Roof Trim

Handmade aluminium headlining roof trims fit into the roof lining of DB5 and DB4 saloon cars.
Both trims push into a recess within the roof headlining to approximately the depth of the aluminium profile. Each trim forms part of the vehicle’s internal detailing and appearance, with the recessed pocket giving occupants just a little extra headroom.
Derived from dimensions taken from original parts, and fabricated using our own DMark® custom tooling, jigs, patterns and manufacturing aids for more than 30 years. Each trim begins as a drawn aluminium profile that is skilfully wrapped around our custom patterns to match the vehicle’s swept roof contours.
The visible surfaces receive a fine hand finish that delivers a smart, natural aluminium appearance consistent with period originals. While we maintain the authentic brushed finish as standard, we can provide a highly reflective polish upon customer request.
Options: Trims are available with pre‑drilled fixture holes, without holes, or with holes positioned to customer‑supplied spacings. Given the variation in roof frame tab positioning between vehicles—particularly on cars that have undergone restoration work—we often supply these trims without pre‑drilled holes to allow individual, precise fitment.
The visible aluminium surfaces are hand‑finished with a fine abrasive medium, creating a smart, natural aluminium appearance that matches original factory examples. While not polished to a high lustre as standard, we can provide a polished finish upon request.
Primarily made‑to‑order, though we typically maintain raw materials in stock.
Fixtures and fasteners are not supplied.
Customers should be aware that vehicles with extensive repairs may have altered bodywork geometry due to paintwork processes, body filler usage, or more which can subtly affect panel shape where trims are positioned. We have taken considerable care to replicate the most authentic original geometry, though this may occasionally differ from a vehicle’s current surface characteristics. Similarly, mounting tab positions may vary from new DMark® component specifications and minor adjustments may occasionally be required to achieve optimal fitment.
Complete set comprising both front headlining trim (positioned above the driver and passenger seats) and rear headlining trim (positioned above the rear seat area) for DB4 and DB5 saloon cars.
The front trim is a continuous loop, while the rear trim incorporates two chamfered ends.
Customers may specify exact measurements for the angled end‑cuts, we can cut them to our established patterns, or we can provide extra material with square cuts for customer trimming and tailoring.
