Handmade mild steel fan cowl assemblies that mount to either side of the radiator within the engine compartment. These essential safety components provide protection for anyone working in the engine bay area while directing cooling airflow efficiently across the engine.

Each cowl assembly secures to the radiator’s side mounting flanges and features a bridging section that clamps to the radiator hose. This dual‑function design combines operational safety with improved engine cooling performance.

Manufactured using dimensional data derived from original factory drawings and measurements taken from genuine parts. Each assembly is fabricated using our proprietary DMark® custom tooling, jigs, patterns and manufacturing aids developed over decades of working on DB2 componentry.

The assemblies are supplied with period‑correct fixtures ensuring correct mounting and proper alignment within the engine compartment’s confines.

Each fan cowl assembly is manufactured in mild steel with a durable black powder‑coat finish.

Made‑to‑order production, although we may have one or two units for immediate dispatch.

Complete mounting fixtures and fasteners are supplied with each assembly.

Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper alignment and secure mounting to the radiator’s flanges.

Fan cowl assemblies are vehicle‑specific components requiring precise alignment within the engine compartment and and especially around the fan blades. Customers should be aware that vehicles with extensive modifications or non‑standard fans or other changes may mean they have to consider additional customisations if their set‑up is not exactly original.

This early configuration features the original bridging piece design derived from the earliest factory drawings. Suitable for DB2 First Sanction and early DB2 models, this variant replicates the first specification used during the very early 1950s.
