Handmade bonnet wing mouldings that sit behind the headlights on top of the wing/fender bodywork across all DB2 models. These brass trim pieces are supplied as pairs only—one for the near‑side, one for the off‑side.
Manufactured from brass with dimensions and geometry derived from original drawings as well as measurements taken from original parts over many decades. Each moulding features two 2BA threaded studs and one 4BA threaded pin at the narrower rear end, and is supplied with brass washers and nuts.
Entirely handmade using DMark® custom tooling, jigs, patterns and manufacturing aids. Due to their smaller, tighter design these mouldings are not filled with body‑solder like the longer centre‑bonnet mouldings are. Each trim is polished and ready for plating.
All DMark® DB2 wing moulding pairs are finished as polished brass, ready for chrome plating.
Customers may receive their new wing moulding pairs in polished brass or chrome finish. DMark® partners exclusively with established, reputable electroplating specialists who share our quality standards.
These DB2 wing mouldings are essentially bolt‑on components, so many clients prefer us to manage the chrome plating process. However, we understand that some customers prefer to handle plating themselves—particularly when coordinating comprehensive restoration work and batching components requiring chrome together after a dry‑fit.
Usually held in stock for immediate dispatch. When not immediately available, manufacturing lead times are typically fairly short.
All fixtures and fasteners (nuts and bolts) are supplied with every pair.
Customers should be aware that vehicles with extensive repairs may have altered bodywork geometry due to paintwork processes and body filler usage, which can subtly affect the panel’s shape where mouldings are positioned. We have taken considerable care to replicate the most authentic original geometry, though this may occasionally differ from a vehicle’s current surface characteristics. Similarly, stud hole positions in bodywork may vary from new DMark® component specifications and minor adjustments may occasionally be required to achieve optimal fitment.
This version fits bonnets on DB2/4 MK I, DB2/4 MK II, and DB MK III models, the later vehicles—those with higher headlights but without a bezel‑mounted Lucas motif. The front tip features a narrower profile that pinches in slightly compared to versions designed to pair with the motif.
